WHEN TO COME
People do not come to the west of Ireland for its weather. It’s generally mild all year round. The summer is brighter with longer days and is definitely warmer. However the winter provides those beautiful moody landscapes that creates that epic photography backdrop. It’s also easier to get around in winter as there are less people at the main tourist spots. If you do decide on a winter elopement you should purchase a wool shawl in earthy tones such as green and rust. These photograph beautifully against the west of Ireland landscapes and help keep you warm.
The gem of the Wild Atlantic Way is waiting for you! Are you ready to do this?
