1. BEST PLACE TO ELOPE – THE CLIFFS OF MOHER

The Cliffs are just amazing, definitely one of the most popular locations to elope in Ireland. When you are standing on the Cliffs it feels like the edge of the world. It’s wild and romantic.
They are in Co. Clare, on the Wild Atlantic Way and stretch for 9 miles.

You can legally marry here, get amazing shots in the Burren and on the cliffs and also in the lovely pubs in the two gorgeous Irish villages nearby; Doolin and Liscannor.
Couples elope here all year round. The winters are mild with sunset between 4pm and 5pm when you get that low winter sun which looks amazing in photos and there are a lot less tourists.
During the summer months there is a lot less chance of rain and the days are much brighter with sunset from 9pm -10pm.

Some couple chose to stay nearby in an AIRBNB and other travel out from Galway City.

2. BEST PLACE TO ELOPE – CONNEMARA

Often there is no one for miles and miles and there are amazing hikes if you are up for some walking.
Connemara is in County Galway. It has a large national park. As well as some amazing castles and manor homes.
You can legally marry here in a manor home , say your vows on the coast, pop champagne up a mountain and visit an Irish pub or 2 in Clifden or Roundstone, which are the two main towns in Connemara.
Any time of year is good to come. Again off-season is quieter and probably cheaper but there is a fantastic buzz around in the summer.
